Local Arrangements Committee

The Local Arrangements Committee (LAC) is composed of WACRAO members from across the state. Historically, the committee was composed of members that were geographically close to the next annual conference location, but since 2019 the LAC has shifted to include members from across the state with a strong passion and dedication to making the annual conference the best it can be. Committee members assist the Local Arrangements Chair/Co-Chair and President-Elect in carrying out the various activities necessary to successfully organize, promote, and host the annual conference. 

The LAC meets virtually about once a month and two times in-person as people are able. The committee has several subcommittees that focus on specific areas of conference planning, including, entertainment, conference materials, speakers, facilities, decorations, registration, philanthropy, food, vendors, and treasurer/budget. Members are encourage to be on several subcommittees that suite their interests.
